Had kimbap today, courtesy of omani. Yummy. I could have this everyday, for every meal I think. This is the only type of 'sushi'-like seaweed roll that I like. At last I've found someone who thinks alike as well. Like Doh (his name really is Doh!), I do think the Jap version is rather bland, and having it with soy sauce and wasabi just to make it tasty is like cheating somewhat. Not to mention wasabi tastes like crap to me. But kimbap. It's like a 180 degree turn. It has a more intense flavour from the sweet and salty meat and pickles in it. Smells nicer somehow as well. Not that one can say otherwise, omani is the demi-god of cooking. Mmmm.... I want some for breakfast... *drools*
